The “Life among the Reef” photography competition by LIFE Pinna returns, which in the previous editions of 2022 and 2023 has already awarded several brilliant images dedicated to the coastal ecosystem.

“Life among the Reef“, the theme chosen by the LIFE Pinna project, celebrates the life pulsating along the tide line and in the shallow depths: crabs, small fish, curious invertebrates, and algae with sinuous shapes. Among the hundreds of images of great technical and naturalistic value evaluated by the jury, the winner of the 2023 competition was very interesting: taken in the depths of Argentario by the Florentine Stefano Cerbai, showing two mechanical shrimp individuals with a moray eel in the background. An unusual composition, documenting the relationship between these species in a challenging natural context, such as a crevice between rocks. There is time until September 22, 2024, to submit images for the third edition of the photography competition. Here you can read the regulations.
