The first version of the project documentary titled “Stopping Extinction – The Race Against Time to Save Pinna nobilis” is now available online on the YouTube channel. Produced by Triton Research, with financial support from the European Union‘s LIFE program and footage by Marco Tessaro, the film tells the extraordinary ecological characteristics of this species, the global epidemic that has affected it, the commitment of LIFE Pinna scientists to save it from extinction, and the role of citizen science.
