Networking and awareness-raising opportunities continue for the LIFE Pinna project. On 24 May, at Marina Cala de’ Medici in Rosignano Marittimo, in the province of Livorno, “Blue Life – Waves of Change” took place, an event organised by Triton Research as part of the European LIFE AMAR Natura 2000 project, created to promote the marine areas of the Natura 2000 network, established thirty years ago by the European Union.

It was a wonderful interweaving of stories and projects dedicated to the protection of the sea and the environment. In addition to LIFE A-MAR Natura 2000 and LIFE Pinna, presented by Diego Mattioli, Project Manager at Triton Research, the event was also attended by LIFE Conceptu MARIS, Life Eolizard, LIFE Delfi, LIFE Sea NET, E-LIFE Project and MonOrniTech. The audience attending the meetings also included sailors participating in the Triton Cup, a coastal regatta also promoted by LIFE A-MAR NATURA2000, who showed great interest in the projects.
